Lemon. Was deceived past dealer

This car has been in the shop more than our driveway and we only bought information technology two 1/2 months ago. Thank goodness for the warranty.

Pass on Optima !! Go for Camry for less money

Bug with the blend wheels, sunroof, radio, poor mileage, resale is terrible. We could have had a Camry or an Accordance for the aforementioned coin.

Oil changes

I don't like the fact I have to become an oil change every 2000 miles. At that place is not a leak merely the oil burns out very fast. I don't mind servicing my machine but this is too much. I have met ppl with the aforementioned issue and they say Kia doesn't want to fix it and I'm under warranty🤦🏾‍♀️

I bought my 2016 Kia Optima Sixty brand new on October 25, 2016. This car was still wrapped in plastic upon pickup from me and had five miles on it. Almost a twelvemonth later, the auto has fourteen,755 miles on it. During that fourth dimension the oil has been changed per industry recommendations and the tires have been rotated every fourth dimension it goes for an oil change, simply so that isn't forgotten and poses no problem in the future. At the offset oil change, four,600 miles. The car had it's first inspection. Already out of alignment, needs the tires rebalanced because evidently they had thrown the weights off some fourth dimension from when it was new, and the oil plug was cracked. This was all industry problems and with the car being under warranty, fixed all issues with no issues. 3,000 miles later on, the car develops a famous shutter when y'all are at a stop light and you let off of the brake before you advance. This is an unknown issue from nearly Kia products, the dealer even let me drive a new ane to prove information technology was "normal," was told to render if it worsens, which in time information technology has. Problems with the engine being super noisy as the motorcar is broken in, the transmission is very choppy and jerky simply overall better than purchasing a car with a CVT in information technology, and also bug known to Kia for smoking black smoke and having a valve chatter. Oh the famous Kia blackened tail pipes. No matter what Kia yous encounter, no matter how new of i, any chrome or finished exhaust pipe volition exist covered in soot, and solid black, sometimes fifty-fifty the back of the bumper is covered depending on what color car yous accept depends on how noticeable. Kia tells me that this is because with existence GDI, the can non withstand the amount of ethanol in the fuel, and if you live in the U.s.a. of America, unless you are willing to bulldoze into the middle of no where and pay $5 a gallon, having ethanol in gas is inevitable. Kia says this is nothing fixable, you just have to deal with it. Kia and Hyundai are both the aforementioned company, and so this applies to both. Most problems I've ever experienced

There were so many bug. Brakes were squeaking, battery had a shortage causing information technology to stall. I also was stuck in the parking lot waiting for a jump. iii of iv tires needed air when I drive off the lot. There was no spare tire. Remote on key didn't work.

noise and vibration from right front axel. Either cv joint bad or cycle bearing going bad. Could exist a bad axel as over twelve thousand of these cars have a repacement recall number sc139.

Knock sensor still bad!

We've had our knock sensor exit every 10,000 miles since we've had our Kia. Would not recommend, unless you want a car that goes into limp way every 10,000 miles and takes ii-4 weeks to get repaired and warranty approved.

Looks like I'm headed to the lemonade stand up and my car is the LEMON. And it's non even squeezed. Do your homework just cause a lot has many cars to cull from doesnt mean the cars are reliable.

I wouldn't buy some other one. Continuous trouble with the sunroof. Service kept on insisting on various steps in the remedy. As well many trips back to service section. Service extremely expensive.
